They therefore, take frequent short naps and need to go outside immediately once they are awake. They may wake you with their crying on the first night just like a baby would. I think the first night it is fine to comfort your puppy as much as they need, as they are scared, and overwhelmed by everything that has happened to them. Please make sure they have a hot water bottle, their familiar blanket and toy to comfort them, and be prepared they will cry, and be unsettled.
